What is it with people placing the prefix, "pre" on everything, such as, "preheat"?
"Pre" means before. "Heat" means to make warmer.
Therefore, when the two are put together, it means heating before heating. That is impossible. You heat the oven before baking. You don't preheat. Or predrill. Or preplan. Planning something is before you do that something. To preplan you are planning to plan?
Also, drill and drill bit.
A drill goes into a drill motor or drill press. If it was a drill bit the machine would be called a drill bit press.
And bits are used in a brace or a Demel or router depending on the type of bit.
Know what I'm sayin'?

Did you ever think that your way of thinking is normal and it's the rest of the world that's not?
We're living in a different world than which we grew up in. Hell, they don't even teach cursive writing in school anymore. I guess that's so they won't be able to read the constitution. Do you print your name when signing important documents?
