Post your 10 second combo's

thanks Mike it came out pretty good. Wrapped it in flat black... Been working on this since fall of last year. Just finished it last week. Had a girl wrap it in Roseville Ca. It took her a couple of days in the mean time I painted out the front end and the grill and the glass bumpers. I really think its way more aero now. and I can see better than with that big scoop. ( not that it helps me cut a better light)
Canyon...U should really be proud of that car...it is great

Wow Mike thanks for those kind words. I do spend a lot of time with it. I enjoy and have always enjoyed tinkering with cars. My first car I ever bought new was a 68 Roadrunner paid around 3k for it. I told my wife I would never spend that much on a car again, ( I was serious) oh well. This is not the same car but my attachment to the 68 still runs through my veins. I also own a Dodge Viper I bought back in 04. Loved that car also but, its currently for sale. I will post a couple of pics of that. 38000 miles 40k. I don't advertise. 2012-07-28 11.01.47.jpg2012-07-28 11.03.26.jpg2012-07-28 11.02.39.jpg

Cayon707 so what did it run, in that video ??
it looked like a descent run, decent launch, nice straight pass
just wonder what it ran, because can't see it even on full 21" screen

Well I took on a hellcat last night at Sonoma raceway. I will get the video of me taking him down. He was an interesting guy. He was a movie producer from Hollywood. First time I saw a drag racer in Patten leather shoes. He produced a movie Born To Race. on netflix. Nice guy and a very nice car. I will provide more soon my videos and time slip are still in the car.

An evening snack.......

looks like the Hellcat is keeping up pretty damn well,
kind of grainy can't see times or win lite

It did keep up I never saw him till I let off the gas at the end. He went flying by trapped at 123 I trapped at 120 Man thats was a nice car. There were a couple of them out there Wed night. I went home and looked up the movie on netflix. Born to Race. Cool movie more a teen movie but I enjoyed it.

1979 Chrysler 300. Blown 408, 727, 9 1/4 with 4.56 gears. 10.50 @ 128 38. 300MATS Staging.jpg

Here is my 10 second car. It just doesn't know it yet.

well. having my 512 built as we speak. should run 10.50 at 130mph when done,
it is gooing to come in on the dyno at around 625 Hp and 600 or so torque.
I hope it runs 10.70 at around 126 or so.
we will see.
sent myt converter back to lenny at Ultimate for a rebuild against my new touque curve. I will postdyno results.

What thats spanking a Chevy ?? LoL ! Ron

Ran my Barracuda on Sunday, getting off the pedal at half track as I was limited to 12.00 due to no cage or harness but the plan was to go out the back door when I was ready and go home :) First card is 11 half track and the second is the one that was going to be it but I stuffed it and left in second gear, as you can see from the half track et it would be .4 better than the 10.60. Anyway I still got told to piss off so did not get another chance.

The car, 71 Barracuda 528, Indy top, roller cam and dominator carb.

Amazing Now comes the choice of a roll bar or throttle stop. With that time if you plan to go deep in the tens there are other things required as well. Whats not to love the car is sweet.

I enjoyed this run. Kevin in the Chevy is a great driver and a great guy. It was fun to beat him. This was just a practice run so it was more about dialing in for the evening races.

I did a double take on the speed till I realized it wasn't MPH!

with the power that cuda` seems to makes
that's if you can get it hooked up
in the 1st 60'-330' it'd probably be knocking on the 10.0 {9.99 or better} barrier
