Powermaster 165A on 1971 charger with AC?

I bought 165a powermaster alternator, but only to find out that it will fit only non-ac bracket, but wont directly fit ac equipped cars, anyone here did a custom bracket so i can steal the idea? Thank you

Don't forget to up size the alternator output wire!

done, already wired up awg 2, as well as all ground wires from battery to the body/engine/alternator of the same size. thanks!

Question....are you planning on doing some arc welding with the 165 amp alternator? Definitely over kill for a 383 car with A/C...factory was only 46 amps. You do not need to accommodate all electrical loads only 50% of total with the diversity factor added in....it's ok for some of the power required to come from the battery.....just my opinion of course.....

How did we ever get by way back when? It seems like there is a generation here that has to have LED lights, digital led dash instruments, bypass the bulkhead connector, direct this, pass that, and then, I have to have a truck alternator to power all of the add ons. Sometimes I just wonder why ? Sorry, sometimes I just have to step back and laugh.
