Anyone who has worked in customer service can tell you rudeness goes both ways, customers can be real AH`s sometimes.

I want to clarify that I was not pointing you out in anyway. I was stating what the laws are here. A few years ago cellphone use while driving was a huge money maker for the Government. Forgot to mention that the car gets impounded on the spot. Find your own way home.

Well.....my toloerance for BS is waning fast, and there seems to be a whole lot of that around here and everywhere lately.
I'll probably throw in the towel when I'm completely sick'n'tired of all the drama, drivel, and running around here like a scalded dog.

I've been called worse...
Something like that happened here about 15 years ago. Driving while using a cell phone got you an instant $80 fine, but no points on your licence.
My neighbour and I got wind of the impending new law, and we started importing handsfree kits that clipped on the sun visor - Bluetooth to your phone and text-to-speech for autodialling etc.....from China.
We made a decent amount of money fast because we were first. Then the big retailers had their stocks arrive and our time was over.
I still see people texting and driving, and holding their phones etc....Cops still nab when they can, but they are not as vigilant as they used to be. I have even seen Cops doing this while driving...without a care in the world. The rule is here also that you can use your phone while driving if you are calling emergency services to report dangerous driving or another crime in progress.

My sister made those up for me - I have another couple - one has the front of men's Y-front undies and the opening is in front. I can rest my cell phone in the pouch and walk & talk with the mask.
Another one is just men's under like the one with girlie knickers....but I put a big smudge on Nutella down around the chin area ..... people stay clear of me when I wear that one. Looks nasty.
Did I mention I was a mask protestor at all....?
One day I knocked up a temp mask to visit my electrical supplier.... cardboard from a cereal box with the face of Jacn&a glued on front. Scared a lot of people away...and was met with much laughter. I glued a barcode on her chin, which leads to another local joke that you guys probably wouldn't understand.

So basically what you are doing is the sales managers job. Showing that poor customer service loses sales. I had a friend who wanted to buy a Ford GT. In order to do that you have to
send in a letter not only proving you are financially capable of spending 1/2 million dollars, but proving you are a contributing member of society with things like charitable contributions and donating your time for the betterment of humanity. My friend did all that and was still declined. So he went out and bought a Hellcat and a Viper for less money, and sent pictures as well as a letter to Ford Motor Company explaining is buying choice. BTW his wife has a Trackhawk that gives his Hellcat a rough way to go! Mopar or no car.

I don't believe that to be too effective unless on a large scale, buying their product even at another dealer is still buying their product, only the dealer looses a sale here and there and they are whom I'm talking about unless they have a good general manager, but it's in all walks of business these days...sad

Another true gem of a story - this time a Prize Prick.
This azzhole Scotsman friend of my buddy Cliff bought Cliff's Ram truck about 3 years ago. He decided to add A/C to the truck, and Cliff said to him that I had a complete set of A/C brackets, fittings and a compressor for it. The reason for that was that I bought a second complete conversion kit from Bouchillon earlier to use on that same truck.
But when Cliff told me he was selling the truck, I decided to hang on to the parts as spares....I wasn't giving it all away.
Anyway, I get a phone call one day while I was not far away from them both doing a job for another friend who has since passed away. It was Brian the manky Scotsman wanting to know if I would sell him the parts for the A/C. I said sure, and that I would get it out ready for the next day. I told him my price and he said that was fine.
I bring the parts out to Cliff's shop the next day from him to collect, and there's a wad of cash for me....all correct amount etc. I thought to myself, at least I got most of my money back. I had sold them at less than what the parts cost including shipping which is exorbitant at the best of times.
Another 3-4 hours pass, and I get another phone call. It's Brian the manky Scotsman on the phone ranting and raving that my parts are too expensive, and he wants his money back. Glen (the guy who is no longer alive) was listening. He said to me "What an azzhole". So I told Brian "You can have your money back - leave the parts at Cliff's shop.
I get to Cliff's shop later on and give him the exact same wad of cash to give Brian, and told Cliff what had happened. He said not much at all about it.
Turns out Brian (a retired Engineer) had templated all the brackets and taken measurements to make his own. He told me he could get a compressor cheaper out of Germany that was the same as the Shorty Sanden. I was furious with him. Cheeky azzhole used me.
At least I now have a spare compressor....but it just really pizzes me off about the entire ordeal.
I have seen him a couple of times since then and each time ignored him as he attempted to say Hi.
That my friends, is a prick.
