Don't want to get into the whole "Buy American vs China" debate. Has anyone had any experience with Procomp products? How do they compare to similar Edelbrock products?

There's a guy here, 67 b-body I think, that runs the procomp heads and stands by their quality. Shoot him a PM or hopefully he'll chime in here.

My experience with them on other ppl's cars and talking to some of my buddies that still are in the machining business is: if you like seats that come out, along with guides, they should be right up your alley. I haven't heard one good thing about them, and just what I've seen taking them apart the 440source heads are way better.

I have bought several of the intakes for various car brands and they work just fine and cheaper, saves me money to buy even more goodies for my car. Professional Product's intakes work fine also.

procomp is fine if your willing to do work on them is what i here, edelbrock just bolt on and go... "my experiance" do your research lots of negative talk on those comp heads, now look up edelbrock, also you cant (in my opinon) compare manifolds to heads cuz theres no moving parts on a manifold, less to go wrong, untill you look @ performence, also remeber that you can get anything to work if your willing to throw enough money @ it... just saying do it right-do it once, the american way, my 2 cents. good luck on your build !

hi tony
Here in Australia we reckon all the procomp rubbish was dumped on us and all the good stuff went to the states.

So not a good rep down here.
