Real Mopar glass!

do you know what this means.. this is the rarest piece of history in this entire house. I just found that out. I have to get it away from that place-but first I have to find a place.

I got the fan chord helping save the glass from sliding haha..

I got the am fm radio 395 with thr bundle of a 5 speaker wiring harness. I don’t have the chord in thr bsck for thr green cassette Chrysler player thou it sucks because all this in one bundle could bring 1500.


and it does work FM does but AM doesn’t.


I can’t afford a 1970 radio and rarely does one pop up in good condition under a 1000 dollars..
 
Maybe the fm/am switch is dirty? Make sure the antenna connection is secure when testing the AM.
 
Getting it ready. We got 2500 worth of parts for the 68 440. We went through internal engine parts. My dad teaching me. I know how to build a motor but not as good as dad. But this will be my first build.

It’s .60 over so we are going factory hp build because the walls are weakened. We have a 3.750 steal eagle crank(hard to find), regular non race bearings, gasket set,six pack rods,we are going with a six pack harmonic balancer for looks,stock timing chain timing gear.

We are going 4 barrel with this 440.
We are getting back two six pack set ups and a double barrel this month completely done and different plating.

Update on Bosco: heres Bosco enjoying time with Luna the neighbor dog. This makes me happy that he’s happy when I’m able to get my mind straight from how I’ve treated him.

I’ll post the parts when they arrive.

I forgot the six pack harmonic balancer is for six pack rods that we are putting in thr motor just in case we decide to just go all out on thr challenger and trust the welds.


Dad said the bleed marks are good on the metal behind the weld amd thinks they’re stronger then factory.


Plus it’s a .60 over bore factory
Build so we might just go with the 440 six pack shaker…


And leave the 440 with 915 heads for the stroker kit
 
Like what me and my dad said we have to fully diagnose the welds so that will be fun and make sure if we ever sell it to tell the buyer… so no one gets hurt driving it.
 
Forgot to say we are replacing the steering column in the truck-as you can tell from the dash pad in the house. I’ll Give updates on that.
 
Got a few parts in the mail. Gasket,crank timing chain and gears and six pack rods refurbished oil pump from internal engine parts. Still waiting on the piston which will be a few weeks he said.

I got the e body tail shaft… forever I waited through around 4 that’s pop up and I said I’ll buy it and I thought by god I’ll do it..

Some purchasing.. best days are a relaxing cozy in bed eBay days eating getting fat and big like I’ve done 3 times now in my life.. man wish I could do it everyday I’d have this place filled up with stuff old cars and all sorts of stuff only using eBay.. if I had a no limit no money a object type of credit card ha.

we’re going to need 4 speed stuff even if we go with the challenger or possible barracuda.. my dads really wanting a 4 speed car now instead of later so we’re closer to having thr challenger done than a new project we still haven’t seen so why not continue on with what we always wanted.


parts add up especially with a ransacked car like I bought for such a high price and poor metal working to go along with it.

If we go the 4 speed and 440 six pack with rally’s gauges with the metal work I’ve done we will get upwards of 33000 dollars in this car it’s not worth it so we’re doing it because of the build why not you know… it won’t be no show queen that’s for sure but have a lot of show parts on it…

I like the patched spider egg weld metal work now especially going with close to military colors as you can get.

Poor folks with shaker and six pack stuff!-ita taken us a year to get to this point my dad ain’t rich he can’t buy this stuff all in one day.. Man this is a awesome feeling to have this in this house.. looks like a hyper car in a barn in a cow pasture haha..

I got the 3417147 I believe is the number for a real made in canada six pack non fresh air have to look at it again from for b bodies awhile ago for 425 dollars complete with lid and for looks a awful air cleaner that’s been used… now the 383 should be done soon-guys are slow because of so much work from covid 19..

I got this for it being unique.. marine tri power for 125 dollars-small engine Chrysler marine supposedly so cool.. I’m going to get them restored hopefully because no one restores stuff like this.
If I get this 6 cylinder barracuda I believe I’m going to use these some how if I can find a manifold-but really instead I want Weber 225 in-line six for the possible barracuda.

This is what I’m getting for the 1970 barracuda I believe if I get it! I really don’t won’t to go big block.. I want a 225 inline six 3 speed manual hop up..
