Progress.

Here’s the 383 carbs. I traded the 340 six pack original center list 4792 carb for two outboards. All carbs are not original but ones a list matching set. The other is matching outboards but a center 71 list. This is the outboards matching and center 71 with the chrome plated bowls that I believe makes a difference.

The guy that did these is a very professional guy who’s tradescraft and wisdom is excellent who tediously takes his time to makes these carbs stand up to new Holley carburetors.

I got myself lost in how much I purchased all this stuff for because I started only doing it for fun not a business so it’s ruffly 440,shaker stuff without the hood, six pack stuff for all 383 and 440,383,and the 383 done is..

2400 shaker stuff,
440 with 915 heads 863,71 list 350, 4365 70 outboards main bodies 225, a crappy six pack base I bought for 100 dollars was no good couldn’t be used,340 carb was 325 that I traded for two complete outboard 4365 70 non originals, restoration costs was 800 a set so 1600 but I was missing multiple parts that I couldn’t find and Holley wasn’t selling and Chicago carburetor was out of parts so I learn to buy a set of carburetors complete that are ruff for around a 1000 dollars on eBay is what I learn from this professional who restores these carbs)

I’ve seen 3-5 sets for around 1000 they don’t last long at all but I don’t need em and ain’t got the money to be buying set after set and restoring them sounds fun and lucrative but I can’t do it because my dad will be pissed off..

So all the parts I forgot thr exsct price but 800 restoration for each set and parts was around 1000 dollars probably so that 340 carb help put me and dad back in the green..

225 for the pulley system..

383 is heck tic- It’s 750 for a 2892093 transmission athat I’m relying on to pull through with a engine transmission sell but it’s got two sleeves and I don’t know what to do but put it in the challenger but I’m like my dad 440 six pack is better so I’m kinda leaning towards two 440 six pack engines.. and selling the 383 and transmission with a 2892093 transmission and six pack intake to spice it up..

His code sign is fastmark on for b bodies very intelligence guy and a true professional at his work… he helped me the best he could … but y’all remember to buy complete carbs for him to restore because it’s hard out there to get single parts for six pack carbs..

Forgot I traded my date code 1969 but not a assembly line a12 carb for a 1973 4144 to match a set up..

The corvette carb was robbed of parts to help keep costs down so I got a the base plate but lost the carb so I think the parts restoration was around 750 dollars I think so 800 800 750 750 383 863 2400 350 225 100 450 a12 carb 325 340 carb 400 hp manifolds 225 pulley system and unknown 383 price is what we have involved 100 dollars 340 carb metering block

My dad said he isn’t buying the barracuda when the guy wants to sell it until the challenger is drive able because of room issues and spoiling me issues. So it’s about time to get out of hibernation mode and back in the shop because I told the guy who’s got the barracuda it be late this year.

The a pillars still haven’t arrived yet for the 1981 camaro. Still isn’t a b pillar for sale and I’m tired of looking for a b pillar so I’m giving up.

I think my dad will buy it because I’m wanting to go cheap path to built the barracuda with rallye gauges rally’s package and a 225 slant six pistol grip 3 speed.. I’ll have to cut the pistol grip I’ve got somehow to make it work or weld a piece to it…

This challenger is hurting my dad a lot… so this barracuda will be a advile relief pill…

This is one of the greatest purchases I’ve ever done 250 dollars for it complete-a real real pistol grip handle still cast into the 4 speed shifter unit never drilled out.. y’all have to pay attention to authenticity if your into it because ebay is brutal…

the other pistol grip handle it’s not a real one or it’s very hard to tell if it’s a real one because it’s been drilled out of its 4 speed shifter and I can’t see 7220 I believe is the casting code.
The re chromed pistol grip handle will be for a 3 speed manual.

I don’t won’t to rechrome this one because it’s authentic..

I’m on eBay with my card tonight going to buy some tools or parts or anything I can find by being a parts shuffler. I’m for some reason getting 1500 a month now it’s weird-I guess it’s some screwed ssi.. I paid my dad 1150 and paid off my 500 dollar limit credit card so I’m back in business tonight is my happy nights where I get to purchase stuff on my dime.

I’ll update my eBay travels later past 12:00 my card will be activated then.

Unmarked tools are pretty interesting. They need attention because some may be homemade that leads to a great ideal in the future. As a professor I will tell engineers to look at unusual unmarked tools. Heck who knows one unmarked tool could be bought by a scientist who is going to create one of the most greatest ideals in decade history and then advertise this tool here gave me this ideal making that unmarked tool sky rocket in value by it being associated in social form with the ideal the scientist created.

heck maybe the vintage German cross came from this one tool long ago in the shadows of time.

I always have believed if you want to create a new ideal don’t look upon mainstream technology go back in time way back in time you might see something there that works with any cars or trucks anything.

Okay my eBay time was enjoyable-I found good things to advance the projects.

my dad took his card off so I’m back to using my card because he can’t trust me again. He’ll be back giving me that card one day I’ll tell y’all one day hopefully soon and I’ll probably make the same choices to abuse his card..

Great deal here but I ran out of money.. someone should buy this even thou it’s not a well sought after year. It’s probably 25 dollars here to be made in re sell value I’d say.

The Blackhawk ratchet makes me think of black area projects pretty cool name-probably where the name came from made in USA.. freaking awesome.

If ever cia declassifys where the black hawk name came from I MIGHT GET LUCKY or I failed.. they might have used this tool at primitive black sites along time ago…

Got the shop cleaned up half a’d but it’dl do.

I have a lot of missing sockets which is a heinous thing to do when not picking up after so much work-we have never lost so many tools before like this since that frame off I did.
This husky 270 piece is my next chance to prove to myself I can keep tools and not lose em.

Getting the camaro out and the challenger back in after this snow storm we are having tonight in Memphis.

This is what I get it’s pretty cool that this can be bought in Tennessee for only 25 dollars…… I remember smoking the illegal stuff and 25 dollars would buy little to nothing of dirt weed.
