radiator for 65 Satellite

I have a 65 Satellite with 440. I would like to have an aluminum radiator to help with cooling. I ordered a Dillon Radiator with shroud and cooling fans but the unit would not fit and the radiator by itself was about 1/2 inch too close to the fan. My stock radiator (stock Mopar) has about 1/2 inch clearance between core and fan. Can any one help? Thanks in advance.

Can you post some pics so we can get a better idea of "where" you need clearence?

Thanks for trying to help. I decided to cut my fan spacer and now it works.
