Radios 232 &233 models any difference?

Hi. I've got 2 1967 B-body radios. Look the same but one is stamped 232 and the other 233. My Coronet has the 232 one. Could the 233 be for a Charger due to the el lighting?
 
Supposedly, the '67 Charger radio and shifter plate were NOT supposed to be EL, only the '66. (however, comma)
I just checked 2 radios that were handy; both are #233 and have the white wire on the side for the EL power pack input.

Good catch!
 
233 radios are for 66 & 67 Charger only...this is AM radio. AM-FM were lit buy a bulb, not EL lighting

67 Charger shifter was bulb lit, were 66 shifter was EL lit...
