I have a 67 440 engine in my 64 Plymouth Sport Fury. How do Itell if it has RB Heads? Who sells the best quality trunk mats?

Heads are the same from B to RB. The block is what makes it an RB. The 440 is an RB.

Do you have 67 915 heads on the engine ? Or 906, 452, 516, ??

like what wile was saying. The heads have a casting number, the last 3 numbers Id the head. 915 is 67 hp only and closed chambered. 906 is 68-7? Used on pretty much every big block, and are open chamber. 452s came after 906s and are like 906s but harden valve seats. (Hopefully I got that right.) But any of these heads will go on any big block.

RB stand for Raised Block,,,, I believe the 915 heads have freeze plugs in each end,,,,LK

Most all have freeze plugs on each end and sides. Only way the poster will know for sure is to pull a cover and get the casting numbers.

I guess the answer to the question is, yes, if the engine is bolted together complete and running, they have to be RB heads. Unsure about 64 trunk mats.

My 516s do not have freeze plugs on the ends.....

Maybe he’s referring to exhaust valve size? Would heads from rb have big valves and b heads have not so big valves?

906 heads had the same size valves no matter what they were on....

I guess we wait for the OP to clarify what they are trying to verify.

i asked this in another thread and never got an answer.......

what is the difference between 516s and small valve 915s?

Its my understanding 516’s slightly less intake and exhaust flow. Combustion chamber is very similar.
