Is it just me or does it look higher in the front????

I agree. Back seems ok, front seems a tad high.

I did replace my springs on a 68 GTX. Not a bad project. From Eaton spring. Really great. I ordered stock plus 2 inches high.

I was thinking 275/60's in the rear on 15X8 rims so I think it needs to go up a bit. The car has 215/75 on 15X7 all aorund now.

Just noticed the Eatons are more than twice the price of the Mopar performance!!

I don't think the Mopar XHD springs will change the height any at all. It looks nice the way it is, but I'm a product of the 70's and like to see a little rake as well. Many of the high arch springs being sold are made by Stanley. It's easy to spot them because the leaf ends are blunt cut, not tapered like the factory springs. This probably doesn't hurt anything but they do look different. I think they offer them in +1 and +2.5

I think 2.5 might be too much....Maybe an inch might help.

How about backing off the front torsion bars and dropping the front instead???

SHACKLES.......( i know ..i know)....39 buxx....ebay....half hour install... got em on both my mopars... NO ISSUES.... if you like the 70's look....shackles are for you!

I just changed my rear leafs on my 73 Roadrunner and now not sure if i like the stance. I bought the Heavy Duty but not the competition. I have 6 leafs per side while the Hemi has 7 on the passenger side.
I think it is a little high for my liking but hopefully afetr time they will relax a little. Might have to put a couple bags of sand in the trunk for a while to get it to settle.LOL! Attached is a couple of photos before and after.

New springs will settle down a bit as you drive.

The Eaton springs were really great, came with ALL needed hardware and I custom ordered the height. I can post pics later.

You may want to think about just adding a leaf. It's really easy you don't even have to take the wheels off.

Take your old springs off and have them rearched. Good winter project and won't cost you much provided you have someplace local that can do it.

I don't mind the height of the front..besides I am going with 235/60 in the front and 275/60 in the rear, so I don't want to lwer the front if possible.

Not crazy about the shackles idea......

440Runner----It looks good to me with the new springs.

I found these from another post.....thinking about this before trying to find a place to have them re-arched.

It sits a tad high in the rear now. I judge by the bottom edge of the rocker panel. According to that, it's high in the rear. Of course, you gave a picture of the car sitting on grass to go along with a question on suspension. Probably not the best idea in the world.

I think it's dead nuts perfect, btw.

You're right about the grass, but it was the only pic I had of the side like that. I will take a new one in the street tomorrow.

I was incorrect before. I did Eaton Springs, 1 inch over stock.

Here is the after picture of the GTX
