Refresh the shop/man-cave

That is a beautiful work space mate..I wish I had the room to do something like that at home.

Pulled the circuit for the compressor and tied it in. finished the overheads and the LED's for the sink/apple/veggie washing area. moved the cars back into the shop and will hang the rest of the metal this week. I have a stainless CNC Flame valence coming to hang under the overhead that will be back lit by the led's under the cabinets.

WOW 2059 ! ! ! Gotta say that the 3-D cabinets look a whole lot better ! ! !

The shop looks incredible . . . sure you don't want a renter ? ! ? ( smile ) . . .

first run with the wash sink. bringing in the last of the carrots and brussel sprouts. Merry Christmas to you all!!!!

Thanks guys, By the end of next week I should have the TV cabinet back ( the supplier screwed it up) the door handles fabbed, the bath accys, and the landing railing done. I think they should all turn out pretty cool. Will post up when installed.

Looking forward to it 2059. Nice bit of family sharing time there in those pics.

I've been developing this concept for some time now and as with any prototyping you hit some unexpected twists, so... this is where i hit a wall today. The "plug wire boots" were too small so I had to order a box of 50 boots to get what i wanted to move forward. Funny thing is it's from an antique tractor supply place i've used in the past for the Ferguson and the Allis Chalmers. Those are Gen II Hemi RePop valve covers, porcelain construction light sockets, 16-2 SJ electrical cord. The rest is off the shelf hardware picked up at the local True Value.

Very cool idea, never seen it done before. Should look awesome when complete. I like this garage thread as much as a lot of the car threads going. Really impressive workspace.

Thanks '67.

FIRST AND FOREMOST. THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP IS JUST A COSMETIC PASS THROUGH FOR THE SJ CORD. THE CONNECTIONS WILL BE MADE IN AN APPROVED AND LISTED METAL J BOX ACCORDING TO LOCAL CODES AND THE N.E.C. IF YOU BUILD THIS PIECE, HIRE A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN TO WIRE THE FIXTURE AND CONNECTIONS

Now that the legal stuff is out of the way...

the great part is a guy can pick up an old Gen "whatever" valve cover and make this fixture for a desk or drafting table or small wet bar. I had a couple 392 valve covers back in the day with the orig. paint that would have been great for this. except of course I had built the 392 from which they came... oh well...

I love those lights! Did you come up with this idea or did you see it somewhere else? Either way, it's awesome!

Not sure if it's ever been done before, I haven't seen it, if it has. I know there are the purists out there that would think it’s is sacrilegious, but for me it's a cool tribute and conversation starter to enlighten those who don’t know the legend of Chrysler's Hemi; no matter the generation.

When I day Legend; I mean Legend... wait for it....ary
