Retrofit radiant heat (Warmboard)

Water is flowing and man is this nice! Set the water temp to 110 degrees then kicked back and enjoyed, so much better in here! Still need to wrap up a few things but I can at least say it works really well without any snags.

I never had any doubt the results would be good - you do great work! It's always enjoyable to follow along with your projects!

Appreciate the kind words, this project was somewhat of a no brainer just lots of work!

I hadn't quite nailed down how I was going to hook it up to a thermostat so I just set the water temp at 110 to try it out, seemed great all weekend but now the wife is texting me at work about how hot the room is getting lol. I picked everything up last night to install the thermostat so another hour of work and she'll be happy. I expected to see my wood usage go up a bit but so far it's went down. The weather had been all over the place so only time will tell.

Took a break for my knees to heel lol. Here's how you install Hardie Backer board safely. They give you several options for installing tile over the Warmboard including uncoupling membranes but given it's aluminum I felt better using Backer board that gets screwed down.

This little area was easier, just 2 pipes under it.

Almost go time! Received my delivery today, hoping to start on it this weekend. On a side note..... My 1500 RAM hauled the 1,500 lbs like it was nothing, man do I love this truck!

As do I. Retarded stands for very foolish, the people that destroyed that stack of very expensive floor board were Definitely very foolish. Like I said.. I have family with mental issues as well, I simply just don't take it that way. I'll try to choose my words more wisely.
