So I thought I decided I was gonna go with the right stuff manual front conversion kit.. Im making my cart up on summit and now Im getting nervous.. Whats everybody think? a 67 Satellite with a 440, think 11'' manual front discs will stop me just fine? Had a guru tell me to stick with manuals, they'd stop me fine, but Im a little nervous. Trying to save money where I can plus dont like to look of a booster, both are probably piss poor reasons, stopping by far outweighs looks and a couple hundred more bucks... whats everybody think? Will they stop me just fine?? Need some votes of confidence..

I have manual drums all the way around my '69 Road Runner and she stops fine ....., with adequate notice. (results not in yet on panic stops) ;) Power brakes are obviously the cats *** but I just left mine original. No power at all except what that big 383 throws at the pavement. :3gears:

You will have no issues !! Manual disks work great plus if you have a big cam finding propper vacuum pressure might be an issue for the power brakes !!

What ma mopar said. My cam is only giving me about 10" of vacuum anyway so my booster is just there for looks. Car is drums all around so I just stay a little farther behind the person in front of me. Once I decide to do disk brakes up front I'll probably just go manual since I won't get the benefit of the booster anyway unless I install a vacuum canister.
