Rod out side of transmission “name”? Purpose?

What is this called and can’t recall how it was used/attached. The rod protruding. Thx

That is the anchor point for the swivel bracket for what some people call the kickdown linkage. Some call it the throttle pressure linkage. This is the rods and levers that control shift points and internal pressure. I have a cable doing the job in my Jigsaw Charger but I use the rods and levers in my LA series cars.

So, it appears to be a 904, correct? A better picture might get better results. It looks like an anchor pin for the throttle pressure linkage, commonly called kickdown linkage. Or so I think.

I forgot to add------------it's that frickin' thing I threw away, because-------the p.o had a hodgepodge of kickdown stuff from------I don't know????????
And I wasn't payin' a half a million bucks for the right leeeeeeverz-----it's a cable now.
