Mid plate can be a tough fit with wedge headers.

Ya thats been a concern especially w/ the 452s I have. The plate and torsion bar clearance is ptetty tight.

Mine doesn't run a mid-plate. Car is very consistent with no breakage. Has been 1.240,[email protected], [email protected] best.

Doug does not use a midplate but has very nice pair of engine limiters which would be a good thing if the mid place is too much of a PIA.

I use a front plate, mid plate & a pair of limiters also.
