I’ve been doing a lot of test and tune runs trying to get my act together this spring.
At Quaker City TNT is 1/4 mile. It’s hard to beat that feeling running out the quarter, letting it all hang out.

This is from a couple weeks ago I think. Still trying to get out of the hole better.
It’s launching better now. I had my new best ET 11.821 Friday night.

Eliminations have been tough, .006 and .008 red lights last week.

Then I had to add spring pressure to the clutch yesterday, but I feel like I’m making progress.

The ladder bar suspension has been great so far. I feel like I won’t have to worry about traction this year. I wish I would’ve done it a couple years ago instead of fooling around with Caltracs.

Need more tire speed for out of the hole a little less traction on take off. maybe a little smaller tire or a little lower rear gear, and in this video sounds like your shifting way to soon motor not revved up..What RPM's are you shifting at? should be like 6T. Should be power shifting.. which is don't take your foot off the gas keep it floored you have a rev limiter so you ain't going to over rev it, just hammer the clutch and slam the gears. get your RPM's up. Practice, practice.practice on doing that..

I was certain I was going to use a triangulated 4 link when I updated my 70 Roadrunner rear suspension.
Once the time came to do it, a lengthy thread later and my "street strip" car had Calvert split mono leaf springs, sliders, Assassin traction bars (like CalTracks but a bit better IMO) and triple adjustable Viking Extreme Street shocks.
My street experience driving was fine, unfortunately I didn't make any track time for me to run it, and I'll just skip the rest.
If I get another chance, I believe the triangulated 4 link is the best choice for any mixed use vehicle with instant center being easily adjusted.
