There's a reason for that. The TacPs and Combat Controllers were getting targeted because they were identified by the enemy. They figured out they were directing air traffic to targets so wearing the same uniform as the Army unit they were attached to kept them from standing out. Ever heard the saying jack of all trades master of none. That's why we have a USAF, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.

It used to be our corpsman wore Marine Corps BDUs while they were assigned to the USMC combat units, but when they rotated back to USN units they wore their Navy uniforms. So why does the USAF require everyone to wear Army/Marine uniforms because of a few guys in the forward units need them?

So we should keep an entire branch of service going for inflight refueling? Seriously? You think squids can't figure out the complexities of a KC-10?

And our planes get around fine without tanker gas. Ever hear of a nuclear aircraft carrier?

No, They can't! They have to have their goofy *** probe & drogue method of refueling. It take up to 3 minutes to 1000 lbs. of gas to a Navy Fighter. Boom Refueling takes less than a minute to offload the same amount.
They still need a Tanker to stay on station, and do they have enough to get back to the ship after they Bingo? What if they're shot up and pissing gas all over the place? You just sit in your little world and enjoy your hate, because it's your world and to hell with anyone else's.

There IS a difference between the AF desert and forest camo and the Army and Marine camo. You have to look closely, but there IS a difference. They are not interchangeable.

And Bru, you DO know that carriers have tanker aircraft that they launch, right? Your Squids can't get along without tanker support, whether it be a KC-10, -135, or the new jet; or your own tankers.
