Wasn't sure what the guy was saying in the video about the sand line clogging up; but that's kinda common with dry blasting in my experience as is having to replace the tip. Though looks as if the tip got trashed pretty fast...
 
Looks like the tip got partially clogged and sand and water was forced to the side trashing the nozzle. The sand was way too coarse also.
 
I sift my sand for my hand operated blaster. If I don’t a lot of profanity comes out my orifice.....

Don’t they call that patina lol. Yes flash rust needs to be dealt with. Not sure how there are several products out there that I think you can wipe down with right after but I don’t know what works best.
 
I guess it depends on what your blasting. Individual parts would be fine, but if water gets in between seems it could be a problem
