As some of you know i've just visited las vegas (from germany) and had a blast.
While being there i bought a few clothes and also groceries that i took with me to germany.
Amongst the groceries is a pack of "Grandma Sycamore's White Bread" aswell as a Jar of "Miracle Whip" that i bought at Winco Foods in Las Vegas.
So yesterday i made some "Santa Monica Sandwiches"...
...using the White Bread and Miracle Whip that i bought in the united states. (Otherwise stuff that i bought here in germany)
Man these were the best sandwiches that i had in my whole life.
Not just home made but EVER had anywhere.
Yes we also have White (Toast) Bread (Mainly from the brand Goldentoast) and we also have "Miracel Whip" (Notice not Miracle but Miracel)
But this stuff is absolutely NOT the same. It absolutely sucks in comparison...
Oh boy do i already miss the united states...
I hope i will be able to come back sooner than later.
BTW: I had to apply a few adjustments to the original recipe.
- I used Cheddar Cheese (1 Slice only)
- I used White Bread (Instead of whatever the original uses)
- The "Sunny Mustard Sauce" in my case is 80% Miracle Whip and 20% Dijon Mustard only
- I used cress instead of alfalpha sprouts
