Good thread! I was just about to order a set of mounts. So where do you order these Mighty Mounts? Has anyone had experience with their fit and quality? I am like you as when you pay for a product you want the product to be right. There is right and not right. I am tired of the old saying I see that this is better than what we had before. NO IT ISNT. Having a halfa$$ed part and paying good money for it is not better IMO. Sorry for the rant. But it is good to post things that aren't right.

I ordered through 440 source.

Yeah great thread. For the price these things better be perfect.

As for the Rolls Royce vs KIA analogy. True RR parts (not the cheap BMW parts used for the mechanicals) are works of ART. KIA parts, well they are just old Mitsubishi parts.

So I used a washer that I tigged on that gave me a hole opening of .56 centered on the bolt. Be sure not to let the heat get to the poly if you do this. This also helps strengthen the ear. I installed the engine over the weekend and had to problem with the tightened tolerance of the hole. Although it was a very snug fit next to the compression fitting on the dipstick.

I made some shims to insert on the sides to take up the extra .124-175 of clearance once the mounts were on the saddles. Should help from deforming the ears when tightening and help take some movement out.

As a side note, put the drivers side bolt in before you install headers. On my TTIs the bolt hit the header on the drivers side.
