Other uses for the vise grip tool.JK. This has been one of the best resto's here. The extent of craftsmenship has been outstanding.

Thanks! Not much due to one of the previous owner's KRAPPY body work, an accident, and oh the rust stuff...... All the bolt on stuff is original so that will up my % of original :grin:

Back in Black!

Hey gang. Well about a month since my last post and I’ve been busy getting the R/T ready for DP90 paint. It’s always the little stuff that takes all the time. All the welds are ground down with some nice and smooth. Others will need to be finished off with body filler due to running out of good weather to paint. The lead joints have a base coat of metal to metal. Seats fitted in for mounting bolt hole drilling along with the buddy seat brackets in place. Use a little magic to float the body off the dolly and onto jack stands. And then the big event…… PAINT!!!! All surfaces got a nice coat of DP90!!! Will go back over with one more coat on the whole car for good rust protection. DP90 will be the final paint on the underbody. I’ll hit the non-underbody with K-36 fill primer so I don’t have to re-scuff the car… again…. A couple of pics below for your viewing pleasure….
