Im making several suspension upgrades to my 70 Bee such as frame connectors, larger T bars, poly bushings, new leaf springs, front & rear sway bars, rebuilt steering box and torque boxes. But when it comes to shocks Im lost. A friend referred me to go with Bilsteins but I think they are rather expensive, but if some of you have tried them & say they really make a differance I may be willing to givem a try.Or would I be better off choosing KYBs.Just want to get some opinions from some trusted Mopar peeps.

In my opinion Bilstein > KYB, If the price difference isn't too much, although for strictly street use your cutting hairs. I used both of them on my 240sx and there really wasn't any difference....just my 2 cents

as long as this is not an autocross car i think any good name brand will work well.i have used monroe, kyb, gabriel, edelbrock, and bilstein with negledgeble differences.current project(67 coronet)is getting monroes and it has .980" t bars and tubular control arms.if its only for street use dont over spend on the shocks.
