1969 Bahama Yellow

This is my 69 spring special 999 paint code (Bahama Yellow) with factory a/c and 4 speed. I have tried to buy this care from a friend for the past 12 years that i have seen it sit in his shop. one day out of the blue about 3 months ago he sold it to me. it is still a work in progress but i do drive it every friday to work. The first 2 pictures are how it was seting when i bought it and the last one is one of my buddies changing the passenger hedder gasket (the car looks bright yellow due to the shop lighting). :argue:
It did have a black top when new but at this point in time i am more worried about geting the a/c working first due to the south Louisiana heat. the car has the original fender tag, 833, 8 3/4, but not the original motor. point is me and my family love the car, so we will restore it as close to original as possible.

since the purchase my wife bought her a 2010 plum crazy srt-8 challenger mainly because the car looks so 1970.

Think I'll be working on mine for the next 10 years or so

She's a 20 footer but I don't care she rips up the pavement!

Needs new paint and body, windshields front and rear, bumpers, some weather stripping, wheels and tires, disk brake conversion up front, new adjustable pinion snubber, tranny serviced, have a rebuilt A833 need the whole 4 speed conversion, small trim parts, new front buckets etc...some day part by part it will come together. Did get my RR horn working though! yeah new horn, relay($100) and some adjusting on the steering wheel and meep meep lol it's the little fixes some times....
