Show Pics of your 68 or 69 Roadrunner

Hi Daryn. Love your RR. Those holes certainly look like a dealer emblem was there once. You might want to try to find a retro one, adds a cool factor.

Without a tag or broadcast sheet there is nothing for Galen or anyone to document. You are unrestrained about what to do for the RR.

I for one would put in modern belts, but then I am selective about the concept of "original". Sometimes I want it exactly like 68, but on safety I want it 2011.

Thanks 68, I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm thinking original dash and dash instrumentation with updated seats/carpet/belts in all black. FYI, the headliner is almost perfect with the exception of the back diamonds by the back window. As I understand, the original material is there, it just looks like a 2 yr old did the recovering.

My 68 Road Runner

Ever since I was Kid, I have thought the 68-70 Road Runner to be the coolest car known to man! I finally managed to fill that dream 3 years ago when I found this gem laquishing in Arizona. The car was restored 9 years previous and had an engine failure after running only 30 miles. The owner at the time put a 361 in the car to make it mobile but the 383 that came in it was toast. I bought he car with the original block and had the 383 short block built by a loacal speed shop. I installed a set of 440 ported and polished heads that they had taken on trade and this thing make 425 HP and 416 Ft. Lbs of tourque.

Any here are a few pics for you inspection.

Nice Score

Nice looking car, I would believe the dealer put their ad/logo on the car this was the way they did it back in the day. Enjoy that car )

Here's mine. Have owned it since 1982, 3rd owner.
