Show Pics of your 68 or 69 Roadrunner

I still own a couple of them. I like to buy them, make them nice, and drive and sell them. Iam like a flipper, but I enjoy them a while first before selling them. The B5 ragtop I have had since I was 20 years old. It is a factory show car built on 801 SPD.

Nice cars. Is that blue one 4th from the bottom in the first post you did with all the cars B5 blue, QQ1 blue or some other shade? I'm talking about the '69 with the vinyl top. The last blue car you posted (the hardtop) looks like QQ1, but the vinyl top car in the previous post looks a little lighter and I like it a lot....

drmopar, great to have you on this forum. This is really one of the best on the web!!
Looks like you may have much to offer and I promise this forum has plenty to offer you.

Thanks guys. I work part time for a very reputable up and coming mopar resto shop in Michigan. We do all mopars, but currently doing some HIGH end mopars. Such as a White hemi superbird, triple black 9600 mile supertrack pack hemi runner, triple black a12 runner, 71 Hemi Bee 4 speed, 71 Hemi Charger R/T 4 speed, 4 speed 71 Charger R/T hemi orange also. All real cars, no clones....

I just bought a triple black 69 RR convert and it will be getting restored at the shop in a couple months....

DRMOPAR, that fisrt "bronze" RR is stunning. one of the best pics in this site IMO. IDK something about the nonpretentious setting or just the stance of the car. just stunning. Thanks

Ever since I was Kid, I have thought the 68-70 Road Runner to be the coolest car known to man! I finally managed to fill that dream 3 years ago when I found this gem laquishing in Arizona. The car was restored 9 years previous and had an engine failure after running only 30 miles. The owner at the time put a 361 in the car to make it mobile but the 383 that came in it was toast. I bought he car with the original block and had the 383 short block built by a loacal speed shop. I installed a set of 440 ported and polished heads that they had taken on trade and this thing make 425 HP and 416 Ft. Lbs of tourque.

Any here are a few pics for you inspection.

Airkiller, that `68 of yours is awesome! I can't remember seeing one painted sublime that I actually liked! Real RM23 with a.c.?

Another shot.

I am from Sonora Ca. also where are you at I am a Mopar guy thru & thru we should get together. Budnicks

Hi 68 Sport Satellite thanks for the compliments. Garaged, yes. It's not red, it just shows up that way in most pictures. It is V2, the original Hemi Orange, aka Tor-Red Iridescent. In the sunshine it is a blazing Hemi Orange, in the shade it looks more red, and most pictures it looks red. I attached a few pics to show the color better (and the rake).

Tires are 215-65-15 front and 295-50-15 rear on Stockton TQ.

Man that car is perty. Budnicks fellow Sonora 68 RR guy mines in ultra black primer but getting there, It will bethe org. LL1 surf med. turqoise matalic. Budnicks

Paint color LL1

Nice stuff gentlemen, I am getting close to paint as well and will be going with the origonal turquoise for my `68 Runner, the "DOG".

Was that LL1 surf med. dark turquiose metalic? My 68 was the same color have not seen many that color at all. Mine was primer when I got it & needed a ton of body work. Good luck. Budnicks

I've been told that that color was only offered for a few months on the Road Runner in `68. Not sure if that is true or not, but you certainly don't see to many of them now. Thanks Budnicks.

Dr. Mopar, can you please tell me if the blue paint on this car of yours is original shade QQ1 or instead '69 B5 blue? I couldn't figure out how to just paste this one photo in here instead of all of the photos you had up, so I just pasted it in the attached word doc. Thanks!
