Side pipes on 70 charger

I paid $500 for it a few years ago, you don't get much 340 4 speed Challenger for that kind of cash! Lol

Mine had the jacked up look and big ole tires in the 80's in the first picture but no side pipes. Back down to normal these days in the last two pictures.

I got a 72 Challenger carcus, and I was up in my loft the other night and I saw a set of big block fenderwell headers. So I thought that would be the only car I have that I would cut to put those headers on. It had side pipes on it because the brackets are still on the rocker panels and it has cool old school fender flares on it too. I would love to build an old school 70s street machine with a blown 440 in it!

This is what it needs

Here's what mine looked like when I was a kid. Circa 1986. I wrote my 74 Charger two years earlier. Picked this up for a platform for my sweet 340. Ah those where the days! I would have chucked a set of pipes on her at the time.

Wow! A 1980. Very rare. You could still get an E58 360 4 bbl. that year. 727 only tho. To get a 4 speed (3+od) you had to go 318 or /6.

I always thought that was dumb. You’d think they’d let you have a manual option with a performance engine.
