silcone on intake manifold

do you use silicone on intake manifold if so what side head side or manifold side. i will use silicone on front and rear instead of cork sorry simple question it has been long time since i installed one.

depends on if it's big block or small block, small block I do, big block I don't

We run it on the ends in place of the gasket strips on our race motors (Small blocks) Always have with no troubles .
Thats Between the heads. NEVER on a Suction part as the ports !! Thats a NO NO !!

Hyolmar will handle all except the ends. Right Stuff my preferred sealant on the ends, after tossing the end gaskets.
