It’s cold in my garage.....60 degrees! Lol!! But it’s supposed to get freezing here tonight so I had to cover my fruit trees.

Supposed to be 0 here tonight, but at least its not northern Minnesota, its in the -10 to -20 temps right now, and that's not the wind chill just straight air temp!

All these news idiots need to take a lesson in meteorology, this is nothing new, the polar jet stream always sinks south in the winter, just like the subtropical jet goes north in the summer. And its not a vortex, its a wave pattern in the jet stream with alternating high and low pressure systems that move sometimes very slowly across the northern latitudes in winter!

We had a very wet fall and we did get a few inches of snow in November, which is all gone now. The weather babes are talking about it being nice through next week too. So far, winter has avoided us here in eastern Massachusetts. So far.....

Not much happening in VERmont either. We have had a couple spots of 1-2" snow weeks but nothing right now. Pretty much still fall here. We went on two sleigh rides, one to chop down a Christmas tree and another just to go. Both were in the mountains and there was very little snow. Beautiful Percherons though.

Last night it snowed about 3-4 inches after freezing rain on and off all day JAN 3. It will be in the 40s F JAN 4 and near 60 F on JAN 6.

Sunny and 65 F today in the great state of Oklahoma. All the snow has melted off the streets. Drove the El Camino to the gas station and Lowes and back with the driver window down.
