So F#'n Tired of WINTER!!!! 2014

It's a good job that he has the neck brace already in place...lol.

Power out early this morning from rain and 60+mph winds, go to plug in the generator and find out the plug I have doesn`t fit, can`t find anyone with the correct cord in stock, slip on ice and fall getting an extension cord from the decorations out in front of the house, wife walks in the door around 1pm - power comes on 5 minutes later, go to get her Jeep inspected and the shop screwed up my appointment and had to re-schedule, wife leaves to pick up pizza around 5pm and not 2 minutes after she left power go outs again - FML today, I HATE winter!!!

Just sitting here having a cold one ,almost took the roadrunner out for a spin but I drank too many beers

My Brother rode his Jawa 350 all winter back in the 70's.
That brings back memories. I think Little Eddy Longmore (sp) was on his Triumph Motorcycle, got run into. He was a very good backyard mechanic. Didn’t trust cars after that, and rode motorcycle’s year round.didn’t leave Regina in the winter. He said he weighed 100 lbs with his motorcycle boots on and a beer in his hand.
He rode his 650 Triumph the 150 miles to the strip. Raced against a guy who had bought a factory setup Harley drag bike. Eddy took him out, went on to win the class. Eddy had asthma and couldn’t ride the bike back home. So we loaded it up in the (D200) along with my brother’s Bonneville 650
. My first year of being a pit crew member 1967.
Instead of a 200 mile trip home, it was a 330 mile trip home.
Great Day.

I didn't even try to scrape the glass today, I just cranked it up and turned the heat on high and went back inside for 15 minutes.

Got into the 50's here and barely touched 70 today after being in the high 80's a couple of days ago. And why is her bottom so crooked?
Looks like a big vertical scar below her bra too. Maybe that's where they stuffed her inflato-tits in?

We're in that snow one day and 60 degrees the next pattern. We are getting some of the birds back that left for the winter. I got out of my car yesterday and some birds were absolutely chewing out and complaining about a squirrel that was in their tree. My daughter says my yard is like a scene from Sleeping Beauty. Foxes, rabbits, squirrels, crows, Magpies, Bluejays, and deer altogether in the same yard at the same time. Raccoons at night. We have a little pond in the backyard and I think that keeps the wildlife close by. There was a herd of mule deer does and fawns in the backyard and my daughter went out with some apple slices. They came up to within 3 feet of her hand to get the apples. I swear animals trust women more than men.

Took this photo during a windstorm looking towards Baja California. Went out looking to get wave pix but found the sunset instead. Must be around 80f here but even back in the usually frigid Arctic temps are way above freezing. We hear that lots of basements are flooding there because the snow is melting so fast that the water has nowhere to go as the ground is still frozen. We will be back home on Friday, gonna miss cheerful, happy, warm Mexico.

No buds here yet. I bet 75% of our trees at this elevation are conifers so they are green year-round. The rest are Aspen trees and they are still bare. I found half of the can of dried-out refried beans in the fridge. I put it on the back deck and the meat-eating birds loved it.
