So F#'n Tired of WINTER!!!! 2014

Buds are just starting to pop here.
The pecan and cypress trees have leaves but they are still small. Probably will be fully out in a week or so especially after this last round of rain.

My Red Oaks are ready for trimming...

No actual leaves yet but green buds on everything. A few 50* pls days and it'll start popping.

sick of this ****

111"s of rain & still counting
(when 41" is average, for everything)
were not even thru with spring or next fall 'yet', to add to it
this happens every 10-12 or so years, it's not new
1977, 1987-ish, 2000-ish, 2007-ish, 2017-ish
not as much but sort of
(ask the Donner Party, they learned that lesson, the hard way)
especially,
here every 3 of every 7 years-ish especially in ElNino years
& we've had some 25' of accumulated snow, at my place
3"-6"s to 2' at a time, like some 75-80 times now
sort of melt off & ice up & snows again

20 miles upcountry, they've had some 35' at 5,800ft elev.
to 50'+ of accumulated snow at 7,500+ft elevations
some claimed even more

Snow in the Sierras - deep by Tahoe.jpg

I'm so done with winter...

It's still way, way, way better
then living with all the scum in the valley
or bays inner-shitty's

I'll 'flush twice', it's a long way to Folsom & Sacramento

Is any of that California rain measurably raising the level of the Salton Sea?

Is any of that California rain measurably raising the level of the Salton Sea?
I'm not 100% sure, I don't live by it...

I'd assume yes it has risen,
most all of Calif. water storage is/has
even dormant dry lakebeds now have water
We are no longer in a state of drought, mostly from the rain runoff
& will be even better after all the snow melts, if they retain some of the water...
not mismanage (squander) all of it, as the normal leadership does

(more like Govt. extremes/abuses/ideology in/of mismanaging & water handling,
not holding it back some, for dry years we always have, idiots just letting 90%
of our water go out to the ocean
)

There are a few areas in SoCal still use way more than their allotted share
but it's not because of drought, they are way overbuilt/overpopulated
& they built in a desert/very arid region, that was org. agricultural or dormant
it was/is still like most of the lowlands, the valleys/foothills in Calif.
(more so NorCal, doesn't have a big water issue, PG&E unfortunately owns most of the water rights)
the area is/are extremely agricultural, the water was/is being used for
growing crops/ranches & trees
that feeds 20% of the nation

"SoCal, It's now mostly used for filling their pools, watering their lawns/landscaping"
