That is brutal! Hope you can get to the grocery store in a few days!

Edit: Maybe it's time to put the hummingbird feeder away.
The hummingbird feeder is out all year, the breed of Anna's hummingbirds don't migrate away in the winter and they're always at the feeder. I have a heater to keep it from freezing if it gets cold enough.

I feel empathy for you. What a brutal thing to happen! For quite a few years we spent a little time in Melaquie Mexico. Wonderful little place, like small city Saskatchewan. Who did we meet, people who came from the promised land of British Columbia and Vancouver Island. They stayed longer because they rented their places to people from the prairies.
But when will you have sunshine! Our very good friend in Abbotsford said he is hunkered down in his bunker. Maybe until tomorrow. Enjoyed your picture. We got about 6 inches of snow on Friday/Saturday, another 3 or more today. Hope it might be gone early April.

A little off base but , day before yesterday , was 81 degrees at some places here , yesterday was 41 , tired of winter too..

Effing cold here. Pussies like to quote windchill to make it seem worse then it is, but in reality it’s humidity that makes things bad. See our humidity, that’s very high for that temperature and makes it feel really bad. Generally at these temps humidity is around twenty percent and everyone has a nosebleed from the dry air. But you can dress for dry cold.

The humidity level we are at makes it seem like minus fifty, at least.

Yep been another hell winter here. Snowfall miniscule, temps super low, always violently windy, second year in a row my season snowboard pass went to waste (last year it was $700+ down the tubes, this year $400+) and both of my ankles have been severely injured since December so I'm just waddling around while my dog hates me and dreading doing this master seal when spring comes.

Another morning... another foot and still coming down at 1.5"/hr.

We need your snow, and certainly northern Alberta does or everything that hasn’t burned here yet is going to. Great Slave Lake is the lowest it has EVER been, which is scary to think about. A lake that is 450 miles long by a hundred miles wide has dropped several feet. I’m not even sure if they could calculate how much water that is.

Ya, Wife's cousin is in Yukon and told her they couldn't even go sledding for lack of snow.

God, I'm so sick of this Sh#t!!!!!!!!!!
Come on Spring!!!!!! I have work to get done on my car....
I have to get the trans back in "with the new 8" converter", Frame ties welded in, CalTracs adjusted, the list goes on!
It's too dang cold in the garage to work with temps below ZERO outside!!!!
"Sofa king" would work well in your title...

Perhaps two Canadian pipelines; one carrying oil east and one carrying your snow run off west? Just kidding, I could never post that on a Canadian page, the libs would slaughter me.
Not all of us. My guess is.
In favour Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Possibly Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Territories and Prince Edward Island.
AGAINST
British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec. Which basically call the shots.
I wouldn’t hesitate to post it on a Canadian site, but that is me. I won’t get into firearms control on basic long guns.
Biggest problem is hand guns coming into Canada without proper paperwork in my opinion.
Interesting to see if the post is shutdown.

Just realized it's Sunday, Daytona is on.
Wednesday we had 12 hours plowing, Thursday 13.5. Friday was a normal shift 6:30-11:30, back in at 9PM to 4:30AM, 4-AM till noon today.
2AM Saturday I was running a path blower and hit a water box, face first in the windshield, neck is jacked up. Just got done shoveling at home, apparently the wife thinks I like moving snow, and slipped on the deck steps, landed on my back. I'm having a blast in the snow, Polaris hasn't left the garage. Ugh.
