finally made it to the track yesterday. 1/8 mile. ran a 7.61 @90mph , 50 degree night and track not prepped. couldnt make any more runs because one of the AN fittings going to the trans cooler felt it was time to start pissing fluid everywhere .... tried to upload photos, but it wont go due to different format from cell phone ....

thanks guys.... SSR, thats a crazy motor you got going in yours ! ... looks like i have to step my game up ! ... i want over 500" next, but a stronger rear setup would definatley be in order ...

Thats a nice car and she ran good for the first time out. 7.60's is about 11.80's to 11.90's in the 1/4 . Is it the first time ever for this car at the track ? Ron

Sweet Coronet...makes a man think....:thinker: I love the painted roof on the early b-bodies...

thanks MarPar ..... Ron, i took it last year but tore the sprag out on the 1st launch, my R/T sucks and i swapped from a holley 750DP, to a modified thermoquad( 900-950 cfm ). the car runs great with the TQ,especially on the street but starting to wonder what difference a bigger carb would make ? maybe a dominator ?? - Erik
