Sound deadener/insulation recommendations

i used a 80mil kill mat sound deading on the floor and the roof. Also on the roof i used foam sound deading also before the headliner was on which helps.

I’m looking at different products for lining under the trunk mat, under the interior carpet, and between the roof and headliner. I’m aware of Dynamat, FatMat, KILMAT, & Noico in various thicknesses. Have any of you used these products, and what are your recommendations, and tips? Would you use one, and then perhaps another, depending on where it’s being used? Thanks Much!

I've asked this on a few separate threads, but how many square feet is needed for a 2-door '68 - '70 Charger, to do the flooring? And how much more to do the doors? 36 square feet is a common package size offering by multiple brands. Is that enough?

I got 1 36 sq ft kit, plus had about 1/2 a box left from a previous project and was able to do floors, doors (partial) and the firewall. If you just want to deaden sound you don't need to cover every sq in of the car. Usually 50% coverage, focusing on the large 'flat' areas that are likely to vibrate, is enough.

1 box should be plenty to get 50% coverage. Otherwise you'll want a 2nd box.
