anyone who has used dynamat or hushmat knows that the stuff is way overpriced,i did a compaison test with both of these to tite seal flashing material (you can get it at home depot)this stuff works just as well and costs about a fifth of what the proud guys get.it is a tar based self adhesive roll with aluminum sheeting bonded to it about 1/16" thick.once you stick it it is there for good.used it before and it kills the road noise just like the million doller stuff.if your a salesman for dynamat , sorry

forgot the pics-----here ya go

Thats a good idea, I use similar stuff all the time on houses. And yes why does a 4ft piece of the auto sound deadener cost a days wages lol, someone is making a fortune on a huge markup.

I have the same stuff in my 73 Charger. If you can't tell the difference "why pay the difference?"

thanks for the tip!

You did a good job on your car, I need to do this myself pretty soon, thanks again for the post! CD
