Ok. I was going to change my spark plugs and was thinking of using E3.52 on my 440, but when I read reviews I was not pleased, so what are the best plugs for my engine to get the most out of it. Performance and mileage? 1968 coronet 440 HP

Every few years there are new super whizbang spark plugs that come out and some people flock to get the 'latest technology' and the ensuing "better mileage' and 'extra horsepower'. Truth be told, no matter what the manufacturer's testing shows, a spark plug is a spark plug on a street or even a street/strip motor. Race motors are a different breed and require a more detailed examination for each motor. Pick your favorite brand; be it Champion, Autolite, NGK, AC or Bosch. I run Autolite because they are a major NHRA sponsor and I like to support sponsors. I know there are guys out there who swear they picked up loads of horsepower and lots of mpg, but maybe their old plugs were crap to begin with... Think of all the people who bought Sketcher's whizband curved sole shoes to loose weight....It's costing the company $40 million now for false advertising....Really? You can't lose weight because your shoes have curved soles? Imagine that...Wonder how much profit that company made. Bet it's a lot more than $40 million...

just use good old champion rc12yc.sometimes refered to as 71 champions.you get a lot more from your eng with a good carb and timming setup/tune then you will ever get from fancy plugs.double and tripple tip plugs make very little difference if any.they work best on newer cars where the factory tune is a bit rich so they try to burn the extra fuel.
