Ticket dismissed!! Found a law firm that does traffic tickets for 50 bucks and they actually have a good reputation (go figure) and got it dismissed. Man, they have a racket going in there lol. Before they called my name, they called 15 others and the placed was packed! Don't know how many they represented and there were two other firms there but they were running them through like cattle. Anyways, the attorney talked about what it would take to do a jury trial and may or may not win and if I didn't win, I'd pay for the ticket plus court costs (plus sitting around for several more hours) and or the judge may or may not throw it out. Another option was deferred disposition at a reduced rate so I opted for that but 30 minutes later, the attorney came and got me and said it was dismissed and I was free to go. Cool beans!

my last speeding ticket was on I-94 heading into work. I WAS SPEEDING! he got me on radar twice once for 100 and the second for 80, I saw him way too late. He wrote all that down on the ticket but said that because it had been a couple years since i had a ticket he recommended I call for a hearing. I did and saw the DA. He read the ticket and told me that he figured that I wanted to keep the points off my record, I agreed so he said ok and knocked it down to a double parking non moving violation. $250.00 and out the door I went. I don't go 100 anymore.
