Steel planetary question

I have 727 trans it's a 1972 and I wanted to replace the alum. planetary's with steel planetary did some of these tranny's come with steel planetary's stock HD part's

I've never seen factory steel planets, I know you can buy 'em.

Diesel, But you have to make sure they fit the output shaft spline. All shafts have the same spline count but not the same pressure angle on the spines. Unless it's a high power car with a brake I wouldn't worry. I regularly run 9.20@3340 lbs on a stock 3 pin planet set-up.
