steering slop question

Here is a pic of the bottom of the column with the rubber isolater thingy at the end.
That then bolts to a T shaped piece that is attached to the splines on the steering box

Thanks for all the advice guys, and big thanks to 72roadrunnerGTX for the info. and for selling me the parts to fix this issue right! I rebuilt the steering column with the correct '72 parts and eliminated the '73 and up isolator. Now it is back to stock and steers great with no slop.
