Probably a good answer floating around somewhere. Yes, going to try researching, but I'll ask the dumb question anyway.

64 Plymouth, auto console shift.

Question is on the back-up light switch wiring. Both in the diagram, and the wiring itself, the wiring for that switch (back-tracking) comes from a connector on the wiper switch? Is that a power source?
I don't have power in the car, yet, just trying to finish up the under dash, and console wiring.

Also have two 'sets' of back-up switch wires going to the console. But, that might be a different story. Still tracing things out.

Any ideas?

Got it! Heh, some of that 2+2 stuff. Just for the heck of it.

Only console wiring diagram I have to go by is for 65. And the console harness shown coming off the left-side kick panel.
As mentioned before, pulled this stuff down myself, years ago, and the harness came from the right kick panel.
Just looking at the two white wires to, and from, the back-up lights switch, I had the wire from the lights hooked directly to the wiper switch lug, right where it came out of the main harness. Of course, finally realized the back-up light switch wasn't hooked in.
Here's the good part...the console wire harness, from the right side, has two of those white wires go from that side, back across the dash! One plugs into the wire going to the rear (at the wiper switch), the other to the wiper switch.
