Super-bee_ski's 1963 Dodge "Max Wedge" clone resto "Round-2"

Don't you hate it when people mess you about like this. Good luck..

YeahSki.....can't go wrong with Black/Red. Stockton is towards where i was going to get that Class A w/440...i'm still undecided about it....it.s a nice 31 ft w/ electric pilots, central heat, central vac, dual optima house batteries, 2 gas tanks hauls 100 gals. an 81 Kings Highway.....clean but only worth about 2500.00.....if i go get it, then i'll be broke again when i get back....indecision.....anyone that might be interested in it, i could hook them up for something reasonable. There are things here i need to spend on.....i'm waiting on a decision on a commission to finish the DC-3 blade....if that happens, then i'll be flush enuf to handle all and uif the window is still open on it, i probably will go get it.....hasn't been run since i left it in april 2013, but a real strong engine 40K mi w/ new dual exhaust front to back....hard call 20" wheels so it should roll 65 w/o grinding the revs too much...might even get 10 mi per Gal. What do YOU think i should do? i won't be drifting this one.

I backed out of the deal..
No communication on his part
No title
Bad attitude

BUMMER . . . but probably the best move on your part . . . sorry that things didn't work out for you.

We can always use another project - can't we ? ! ? ! ? ! ?

Hello Mark ! What a beautiful car...Don't stop Keep it going Man and when your ready to buy the "Cal~Tracks Suspension" let me know ill get you a Great price !!

Thanks Jay,
I do have the Cal Tracs set-up.
And, the TTI pipes will not work with Cal Tracs

But, I am almost ready to throw in the towel on this project.
Simply put, I have spent too much money on this already.
I lost the $6,500 from the original "Phoenix Auto Body"
And now, another $1,800 to re-strip the body, $3,000 to fix Phoenix's mistakes, AMD trunk repair etc.

All this and the body is not painted.
Sometimes I feel as though I should "cut my losses"

Ski.....You'll get there....You're building it as a keeper right? Nice to see You back.

Mark....hopelessly addicted to the 'B' threads Boss....too many primo projects to keep an eye on. Trying to cut back on too much posting, even tho i started another airplane thread yesterday..LOL..i'm incurable! 1800 to restrip the Polar.ouch....plastik media blast, walnut shell? I'm wanting to give soda blast a shot, at end of day, i still prefer slow flat grind .....use material as a guide to read lows and hi's. New week...lots of progress to be made....spent last three days fabbing a base for Manzanita "Tree of Life" award out of fiberglass....am pleased w/ result after two months of procrastination.
Good to hear from You Boss.... Many blessings for push w/ Polara.....jimi

Don't give up man, youll get her!!! You have had a lot of problems and i know how easy it would be to stop but later on you will be mad about it... Paint that car yourself, you can always fix it if you do mess up but get a piece of plywood, borrow a car from the junk yard and do some practice, only suggestions but many years back i gave up on one and have been sorry ever since, i decided no more, ill do everything (except build the engine) myself..

Mark !! Never Quit...Never Give Up...Ever !!

"I know you know this"

I mean it when i say it...if you need my help let me know...i know a lot of people in the car Hobby industry...

also has your car been mini tubed ? if not then the TTI's should work with out any modifications

Man that really sucks to hear but I guess the only way to look at it now is if you don't finish it then the money really is wasted! On the other hand you could see it through and build the most beautiful car you ever saw making it all worth it. Either way it's heartbreaking to put everything into something your so passionate about to turn around and have some douche bags ruin the whole process! Been there and it sucks but I've never found any comfort in anything other than completing the journey. Good luck, hope things turn around for you soon.

Thank you for the support.
I'm looking for so much hardware, it is all lost.
So, I have decided to search for a "Donor" car.
WTB: 1963 Dodge 330/440 or Polara for a parts car...

To be continued...

Not mine but looks to be in excellent condition!
