Well that kind of sucks. Was hoping you could get that one. Now it's time to focus on that 68 I would imagine?Well, looks like he’s thinking of keeping it again. I offered 30k for it, or 31k with his hooker headers he had bought for it. Told him to keep me in mind if anything changes.
We will see.
It was the fast n furious movies that made charger values go stupid high. Before that they weren't that bad at all. Average with other mopars. Now, they have reached stupid high prices.Maybe so, I think a GTX (road runner) and a Charger R/T (or base 383 charger (same as road runner)) were each at the same end of the spectrum when new. It’s just some weird phenomenon (maybe general lee) that made the charger sky rocket in price??
Regardless, I guess the point I was trying to make was, maybe look for something done to your liking already as you’ll likely be many dollars ahead in the long run and can enjoy immediately
Here’s on maybe worth looking at

Good luck. That was not driven much on the salt up here. If it had you could load it on the trailer with a shovel by now.Tentative plan is to drive up Monday with cash in hand. I do know this was an Ohio car for about 15 years. Some point around 85-87 it was moved to Oklahoma. Factory undercoat. Any other places I should check for hiding rust? The rails seem solid. I used a cheap magnet on the rockers and lower areas and it seemed to not be filler. There is some rust in the upper rockers in places, as seen in photos. But it seems like it’s in good shape for a car that spent that long up there, all things considered.

Monday is tomorrow! Can’t wait to hear!
I agree- but if you have the loot, you only live once!Definitely excited. I have been thinking about picking this up since early last summer. Just hard to digest the buy in cost of a car like this, which is why it took me a while to decide.
It wasn’t publicly for sale fortunatelyWith the way things are going nowadays with second gen Chargers, I am amazed it lasted 8 months on the market before finding a new owner.
Congrats fellow white 70 Charger R/T owner! Glad yoi got the car! You won't be sorry when you are rowing that big ole pistol grip shifter through the gears!
Now I just need to decide on a 470 stroker or a 440-6 pack…
