Another “Toy” ‘99 Harley Sportster I bought new….

I had a 1976,1998,2001.Wife and I both rode them. Dressers too. My favorite is the Sportster.
Kinda looking for one now.

By early 70s what I really wanted was the new Honda 70. I worked and hussled my A$$ off to save $350. But my parents would not let me. Even while first saying "If you pay for." (Not believing an 11 year old can earn/raise $350 in one summer) Saying it was too dangerous.

I never fully forgave them until their passing. To the point I nearly bought one Two years ago. (It's bad when you're still pouting 50 years later?)

My dad got two of these (1 Yellow and 1 Green/Blue?) when we were in Germany in the 70's. When they went to Italy one time, I hotwired them and my friends and I rode them for the whole weekend. Long story short, this is why I got 41 stiches in my leg and a half cast for the rest of the summer...
