Taking a shot at Organisol Black (AKA an Organisol Adventure)

That’s a very close approximation of actual Organisol, nice work…

Did you have any luck with matching the paint?
Thanks!!
Sorry, didn't know there was an old question sitting there.
I wasn't trying to match anything on the car, was going by the appearance of other vehicles that I'd seen.
In that one regard I did have good luck.

The hood I painted in this thread sure is not the nicest hood I've ever seen, I am not even
100% positive I will use it on the car after all this effort, but I wanted to create a process to
copy organisol in modern materials and was successful in that one pursuit.

As long as they keep making this product I think it will totally look the part on the tail panel
of my Charger also, when I finally get around to doing that one....but without the texture trick I came up with at the end.

Wizard products sell a mist on wipe off protectant for a flat paint finish.
My 67 hood is SEM hot rod black , I use the wizard product to protect from tree sap and bird crap.
The SEM should be fine on its own I just like the extra protection.
Your hood turned out nice.
