Hello from road robert driving from Massachusetts! I will be making the 389 mile road trip (avoid highways) for the first time this year with my buddy (Johnny Lightning) riding shotgun, '71 road runner all stock no A/C, manual steering, 383 4spd w/ 3:91s and F-70 14 Good Year Polyglas wide treads!
Can my friend and I swing by the tent on Sat for 2 burgers and 2 dogs? (He's a '71 Chevelle SS 454 4 spd guy but loves Mopars too!)
1. I do not see a 2021 schedule on the Dragway website, please let us know what you find out... I saw on this thread that some guys head out the the dirt oval track nearby to see stock car racing Sat night, sounds fun.
2. I want to do the autocross, will they let you drive the course with just a lap seat belt? I am trying to find a Snell rated helmet but not easy last minute...

Drive safe and we'll see you Saturday (and maybe at other meet and greets at the tent)! Got you covered for the burgers and dogs!

You have Williams Grove Speedway right down the street from Carlisle fairgrounds Friday night dirt oval track racing and Port Royal Sat night dirt track racing. They dont let you take your own personal car out on the track though. U can ask management though since you will have nice car. Maybe they will let you but insurance reasons will kill it probably. He is Williams grove schedule and South mountain dragstrip racing for Friday.

Also if you are retired veteran military or active duty or Guard. You get $5.00 off your entrance fee. Carlilse just started this at the Ford show this year I went to, you dont have to show them your ID but I would take it just in case or something with your DD 214 paper work a copy of it if you dont have a Id or copy of discharge certificate or even some type of e-mail with your name on it from military just in case.

Here is my updated listing for those attending the event. If things go as plan, I will be pulling out of here around 11:00 PM Sunday night so as to get a couple hours out of the way. If things go as plan, I hope to be on the grounds around mid afternoon on Monday, July 5th. Everyone have a safe trip and stop by our location in rows H and I in spots 138 through 143.

road robert, With your question I think maybe you want to run the Carlisle Autocross Course with your car. If this is correct, maybe someone here can advise or you call Carlisle To confirm only the use of a lap belt as ok. Also your Street Insurance may be Voided if involved in ''Racing Action''.

Sorry guys. Won't be able to go this year with the pro street challenger. Speedway Motors screwed me and cancelled my 3+ month backorder on seats that were finally shipped and supposed to arrive 3 days ago.

I will be there on Saturday to buy some parts at the swap meet, but once again won't be able to show the Chally.
