Concur. I'm not normally attracted to gold cars and actually I haven't even seen too many gold 68-70 RRs (I have a gold 70 Sport Sat down in San Antonio though :) ).

BUT this one and shade looks most excellent ... not like the late 90s/early 2000s cars with a boring shade of gold. I especially like the contrast of the turquoise engine.

I was thinking earlier today about the number of restored F8 green, pale yellow, brown, bronze etc colors that are making a resurgence in use instead of people changing colors and that is a good thing IMHO and I'm sure you'll all agree. Diversity is good.

My god man......A guy almost needs to make an appointment to be able to check out that car...Flawless! Every new pic I see just confirm's what a great job you did on that Plymouth. Have fun!

Yeah X2 or ditto :iamwithstupid: , car is & shows absolutely beautiful...

Thanks guys, I am humbled by your kind comments. Sue and I are heading out to the Nats next week with the Road Runner. Then will be the moment of truth, when judges , who know way more than I , will pick it apart. I'll be standing there with a notepad, I'm sure. LOL Should be a great time though. Hope to meet some FBBO members out there. Looking forward to it!!!

your car is very close to a 100 pt. concourse restoration, from what I've seen in the photos... good luck with the judging

You have given me encouragement to start a complete restoration on my 69 #'s matching RR.Your work is impeccable and detail oriented, enjoy that beautiful car !!

I've been gone most of the summer, but just checked in here and all I'm going say is WOW! What a nice job you've done. It looks like the end of this chapter.

Good luck and have fun at the Nats. I have a feeling you will score very well.

Seeing the work you have done on your car, if it was up to me i'd give you a perfect score. But like you said, the judges know more than you or I. Are you going for the "GOLD" at the Nats?

Made it over to check your car out before we left, excellent job. You did one hell of a job on it, super clean engine compartment, beautiful paint and interior, really nice job. Glad I had the chance to meat you while I was they're, good luck with the judging.

That car is amazing, your shop is really nice, shop of my dreams for sure. Best of luck at the Nats.
