When you were a kid, the Doctor was old and now you're old and the Doctor is a kid.........
Am not that old but I no longer drive at night, can't see ****, start using glasses because I can't see things at a close range, and I start to get cramps in places I never had it before.
That's exactly why I've refused any manner of script painkillers - always.I'm not old but.
Im do screwed up I can't walk / sit to long and can't lift or bend much I'm in constant pain the pills they had me on fried my mind I forget alot and have no clue sometimes what /where /when I was to do something or was going somewhere!
I'd hate to see me in 40 more years !
RC , I raked lots of leaves and burnt them, and raked some bare ground areas and seeded on saturday. I'm still feeling it this morning.lolI worked on reassembling the Charger yesterday & worked from 7:30 - 4:30 and took a half hour break for lunch. I plopped myself down on the couch and man, was I stiff when I got back up. Gone are the days when I could work like the Energizer Bunny all day and still feel good. As I am typing this, I'm still a bit stiff.
I'm remodeling the bathroom, as you know, and the kneeling on the floor and getting up and down, and laying on my back all twisted up under the vanity inside the cabinet takes a toll.. sore muscles that haven't been used in a while. Not as young and springy as I once was despite having been in the military so long and forced to exercise daily. I expect that I'm in better shape than a lot of guys my age, but still. Stiff and sore at the end of the day.I worked on reassembling the Charger yesterday & worked from 7:30 - 4:30 and took a half hour break for lunch. ...I'm getting stiff in all the wrong places.
(and I don't mean around schools)
I'm so old I remember we had the first color TV on the block, 19" Panasonic.
