The Kelly Charger

I still have to, adjust the door, the smallest little bit, and my buddy, The Wolf Man, is gonna help me with the body work on the rest of the 1/4.
I also have to paint the top of the dash, while the front windshield is removed.
Then I will either go for a factory style paint job in original color, or just paint the new 1/4 area, and clear over the rest of the car, and rock the faded paint look.
I hope to order up the clips for the window (front and rear) trim, and headliner, and vinyl top next week.
I also need a new sending unit, for my new fuel tank, and I may up the original 383 4bbl size fuel lines to the 440/Hemi size ones.

I just read through your thread. My car was hit in the rear driver’s side at some point too. I’ll be doing much the same as you’ve done except my framerail needs to be replaced. Nice job!

I kinda got lucky in that the trunk buckled up OVER the frame rail, and it was right by the frame rail, and rear shackle mount, so it was a strong part.
Is your frame bent or rusted?
If its bent maybe good idea to try and have it pulled out first, It really helps a great deal!!!!

So I think that I will be making some progress body wise in STARTING in March. I have too see how things and my finances go, as I was gonna just spray the 1/4 and deck lid and just rock the old paint, but if I can get help from my buddy, the Wolf man, I can have the whole car shot.
Its freezing in my shop, as I still have not hooked up my heat.
I put a new furnace in my house 2 years ago, and moved the old one into my garage.
When I did that I removed my wood stove, so a propane heater is currently all I have.
I am getting VERY restless and need to hit the shop.
I am kinda stuck until parts arrive.
I do have a few small spot welds I can finish up and also dress some welds, but for most part I am ready for body/paint.
If I put on enough clothes I guess I can finish pulling the 1972 440 and trans from the motor home.
