The Mad Canadian Ken Carter

In the mid 70’s my dad raced street or hobby stock here in central NY. One night at Fulton Raceway Ken Carter had his show there. My dad volunteered our 65 Gold Pontiac Catalina to be jumped. We had a photo of it but now lost through the years. Anyone here around then and see his show @ Fulton NY Raceway. It is now dirt but was pavement back then.

I miss those stunt shows and daredevils from back in the day. That takes some stones to make a jump like that in a 62 X frame Chevrolet Impala.

I read Ken's Wikipedia and he died jumping a rocket powered 82 Pontiac Firebird. Isn't that what they did in the movie Hooper,with an earlier Firebird?
