I KNEW the earth is flat!
I KNEW the earth is flat!
Wonder if that's accurate, about the drive for all metric, I'm old enough did I remember Jimmy Carter try to convert US to metric, I really wish it would have happened because now we're stuck with half and half.... metric makes so much sense everything is divided by 10, in other words if you have a box that is 10 cm by 10 cm by 10 cm that is a thousand cubic centimeters, which is 1 Liter, which water weighs exactly 1 kg.
Kinda like all those Europeans buying tires to go on their 381mm, 431.8mm and 508 mm wheels.....
I owned an 83 Mustang GT and an 84 Escort GT with the metric Michelin TRX. They were the first go at a low profile tire. It did help they handling on dry roads, but if rain was even in the forecast they would hydroplane.Kinda like all those Europeans buying tires to go on their 381mm, 431.8mm and 508 mm wheels.....
Anybody remember those 390mm michelins?
But I still have to use Google to convert the 255mm to inches, so I really KNOW how wide they are.No issue putting 255 mm tires on 6.5 inch wheels, though.
I pretty much know that 6mm is a 1/4"But I still have to use Google to convert the 255mm to inches, so I really KNOW how wide they are.
